The solid-state polymerization reactor increases intrinsic viscosity, purity and mechanical performance of R-PET pellets. The SSP process takes place in an inert nitrogen atmosphere at temperatures between 180 and 220 °C, below the PET melting point. The system is available in modular capacities of 12,000 L and 24,000 L and can be configured according to production requirements. Digital control keeps process parameters repeatable, while the compact design simplifies operation, maintenance and integration after a pelletizing line.
